Why you should be able to watch every AI agent work
When AI does work for you, the usual experience is a spinner, then a wall of logs, then a result you have to trust. If something goes wrong, you find out at the end. That is a strange amount of blind faith to ask for, especially when the AI is writing and running real code.
Visibility is control
You cannot steer what you cannot see. When each agent is visible, and its state is legible at a glance - working, waiting on you, or failed - you can act while the work is still happening instead of after it is too late. Watching is not a nice-to-have. It is the difference between directing the work and hoping it turns out.
A progress bar tells you to wait. A visible agent lets you decide.
Made to be watched, and stopped
In pondas, every agent shows what it is doing right now, on one screen, in plain view. Loud color is saved for the one thing that needs you, so a screen full of agents stays calm to leave running and hard to misread when something wants your attention. And nothing runs away from you: you can stop a single task, pause the whole project, and a daily cost cap holds the line.
Real code is being written and tested on your behalf. You should get to watch it happen, and put a hand on it any time.
